Dr. Eger - Olive Oil
Body- and Scalp-Massage, Psoriasis...
Skin problems and muscle and joint
pains are symptoms of sensitivity to chemicals. Such sensitivity
develops over the years as a result of continuous exposure to a hostile
environment saturated with chemicals.
Adhering to a healthy diet and using skin-care products based on natural
substances, will minimize the damage caused to the body in general, and
to the skin in particular.
Three primary massage oils, based on olive oil and aromatic oils without
synthetic additives, will ensure effective treatment.
Oil for Massage
Olive oil is a natural raw material that has been used to lubricate and
massage the body for the past 6,000 years. Due to its special
composition, it is rapidly absorbed through and softens all the layers
of the skin. Owing to its high vitamin E and polyphenols content, olive
oil also acts as a very effective antioxidant. It protects the skin from
damage caused by free radicals, thus prolonging the life of body cells
in general and of skin cells in particular. We have added aromatic oils
to the olive oil to increase its effectiveness in relieving painful
muscles and for overall relaxation: Ylang Ylang, Lavender & Lemon.
Method of Use: Saturate the skin and massage until the painful
area is soothed.
Olive Oil for the Relief of Very Dry and Damaged Skin (Psoriasis)
This oil softens and relieves very dry and damaged skin, such as that
associated with psoriasis. In addition to the olive oil, the preparation
also contains a vitamin E complex, Chamomile oil, and Rose Maroc oil.
Method of Use: Spread the affected skin with as much oil as it
can absorb. The oil can be applied a number of times a day.
Olive Oil for Scalp Massage
Due to the rapid absorption of olive oil into the skin, it is an
efficient carrier for the aromatic oils contained in the preparation.
The olive oil itself contains Vitamin E, and polyphenols - antioxidants
that retard the rate of aging of scalp cells, thus slowing down the rate
of both hair loss and dandruff formation. The preparation has been found
to be effective in cases of seborrhea and significantly eases the
uncomfortable sensation caused by it. In addition to olive oil, the
preparation also contains a synergistic mixture of aromatic oils:
Rose, Sandalwood, Cedar wood.
Method of Use: Saturate the scalp with the oil while massaging.
Wait approximately one hour then wash the hair. Repeat the treatment
three times during the first week, then apply as needed, up to three
times a week.
Important: Oils containing aromatic oils must not be used to
massage babies and pregnant women.
